Perfect Eleven
The greatest sporting event has come to a close. With that, I present my personal favourite athletes (most of whom are from the swimming arena).

Beijing 2008 witnessed the greatest Olympian of all time – Michael Phelps (USA). 8 Golds, 7 WR, 1 OR. Heartfelt respect to this young man.
With the fastest man in water, we also witnessed the fastest man on dry land - Usain 'Lightning' Bolt (Jamaica). 3 golds. 2 personal WR. I WR with his relay team.
A pat on the back for Team Singapore, a silver after 48 years.
My personal favourite – Tao Li, 1st Singaporean woman to make it to the finals.
With that, goodbye Beijing. See you in London, 2012.

hey u forgot Usain Bolt!!! woo hoo..my personal favourite!! he broke the 100m,200m, 4X100m (with his team) world records! super fabulous..
and michael phelps..he is a 'monster fish' how in the hell can someone get 8 golds in all the event he has participated n break 7 world records? only a monster can..haha
im gna miss the olympics man! =( thank God for EPL! haha
The fastest man.. but he didnt make me like him fast enough.. =]Still.. i must salute that man. im going to add him, in the great name of sports.. =]
